Our foundations

Deutsche Vermögensberatung's social responsibility extends to the foundations named after our company's founders, the Dr. Reinfried Pohl Foundation and the Anneliese Pohl Foundation. These foundations, which are financed by private funds from the Pohl family, are devoted to providing support for diverse initiatives in the Marburg region and beyond.

Dr. Reinfried Pohl Stiftung

Since 1997, the Dr. Reinfried Pohl Foundation has been actively supporting science and research at Philipps University of Marburg, with a special focus on the fields of medicine and law. The foundation aims to empower people for a better future and encourage social progress through science and research. Over the years, the foundation has played a crucial role in the realization of numerous projects.

Since their inception, the research centres for financial services law and legal informatics have received continued support from the Dr. Reinfried Pohl Foundation. These institutions exhibit exceptional excellence in research, teaching, and post-secondary education, thereby providing students with novel and compelling employment prospects. Furthermore, the modern Dr. Reinfried Pohl Center for Medical Education ensures optimal preparation for future physicians, offering valuable practical experience both for students and scientists.

Anneliese Pohl Stiftung

Since 2009, the Anneliese Pohl Foundation has been devoted to advancing medical cancer research and providing assistance to individuals and families impacted by cancer. To accomplish this mission, the foundation established the Anneliese Pohl Psychosocial Counselling Center in Marburg. This institution, staffed by psychologists and other specialists, provides comprehensive guidance to cancer patients and their families.

One of the foundation initiatives is the Anneliese Pohl Habilitation Program, which aims to assist young female habilitation candidates at the Department of Medicine at Philipps University in Marburg with balancing their careers and family responsibilities.

Both foundations generously supported the establishment of the Anneliese Pohl Comprehensive Cancer Center at Philipps University of Marburg. Since it was started, it has become the biggest oncology centre in Hesse.
